The Cullman Child Development Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Service Coordinator to support our new Early Intervention Program. This role will be central in helping children ages birth to three access needed screenings and developmental services and ensuring that families receive high-quality, individualized support. While we are especially interested in promoting from within our center, we welcome interest from anyone who may be qualified.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families enrolled in early intervention services.
- Coordinate evaluations, assessments, and service delivery to ensure that developmental needs are met.
- Develop and oversee individualized service plans in collaboration with families, therapists, and, when applicable, teaching staff.
- Facilitate communication between families, providers, and outside agencies to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Support families in understanding their child’s development and accessing community resources.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training to strengthen service delivery.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a health or human services field (e.g., early childhood education, social work, psychology, nursing, human development, or related field).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working with children and families, preferably in early childhood or health-related settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build strong relationships with families.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and family-centered practices.
